Facebook co-founder and CEO Mark Zuckerberg has announced the new name of the company. Facebook will now be known by the new name Meta, while the one for which Facebook has changed its name will be known as the Metaverse. The Metaverse is a different world that is completely dependent on the Internet. Facebook is also continuously investing in the Metaverse. Apart from Facebook, many other companies are also considering becoming a metaverse.

Mark Zuckerberg said during the announcement of the company's new name, “We have learned a lot while battling social issues and being together on very close platforms and now it is time to take a new approach from the experience of what we have learned. Begin the chapter. I am proud to announce that starting today our company is now META. That is our mission. Our apps and brand names are not changing. Today we are known as a social media company, but by DNA we are a company that develops technology that connects people.

What changed and what didn't?

Only the branding of the company has changed i.e. the Facebook company will now be known as Meta. Meta will be written on the company's headquarters and not Facebook. Facebook is not changing the name of the app and neither is changing the name of Instagram, WhatsApp and Facebook Messenger. There is not going to be any change in various positions of the company, but from December 1, the stock of the company will have a sticker in the name of MVRS. The Thumb (Like) logo in the company's headquarters has now been removed and has been replaced by a new logo which is similar to Infinity.
