'Lockdown' unlocked from June 1, restrictions will be removed from movement in other states as well, government releases new guidelines


The Central Government has given great relief to the people on the corona lockdown. On Saturday, the Ministry of Home Affairs has issued new guidelines till the next month i.e. 30 June. This allowed all types of activities to be started outside the Containment Zone (prohibited zone), while the lockdown in the Containment Zone has been extended until 30 June. At the same time, now pass will not be allowed to go from one state to another.




Talking about reliefs in the new phase of the nationwide bandh, religious places, public places of worship, hotels, restaurants, and other hospitality services and shopping malls will be allowed to open from June 8 in the first phase. In the second phase, schools, colleges, educational / training/coaching institutes etc. will be opened after consultation with states and union territories. After assessing the situation in the last phase, a decision will be taken on international air travel, metro train, cinema hall, gym, political meetings, etc.
Travel ban from 9 am to 5 am

Along with this, guidelines issued by the Ministry of Home Affairs have said that the curfew time will be reviewed at night and there will be a ban in the entire country from 9am to 5pm. At the same time, the lockdown in the Containment Zone will continue till June 30 and the district administration will determine these areas.


Lockdown 4.0 will open in three stages (except Containment Zone)
* Religious places, shopping malls, hotel restaurants will open from 8 June.
* In the second phase, opening of schools, colleges will be considered in July.
* In view of the situation in the third phase, international air travel, metro, cinema hall, and gym will be discussed.

The lockdown has been in force in the country since March 24 to prevent the coronavirus epidemic. Lockdown 4.0 is ending a day later on 31 May. The fourth phase of the lockdown was relaxed and many decisions were left to the states.

Union Home Minister Amit Shah spoke to all chief ministers on Thursday (May 28) and discussed their views on extending the nationwide lockdown after May 31. Just three days before the end of the fourth phase of the lockdown, the Home Minister held a telephone conversation with the Chief Ministers.
